"All Roads Lead to the Sea"

This was one of my favorite projects previously posted on the blog I lost, so I'm re-posting it here. My friend Stampin' Quilter Barb and I got together for months to make this pictorial quilt, one for each of us. We used mostly stash fabrics, and we both now have this quilt in our homes. It's large (81" x 92"), is entirely pieced (in 12 sections), was embellished with embroidery and beading, and was tied rather than quilted. Some of that may show when enlarged. If interested, it's a Country Creations pattern, but be aware it took a great deal of time. I probably won't make another like it, but I'm very happy I made this one!

It is gorgeous. It would probably take me years to have the patience to do that.
