My Hand-Made Quilt Rack

My husband enjoys woodworking and has made many special things for our home and family. This is my favorite! I had requested a quilt rack, and he surprised me with this large one as a gift. It sits in our dining room where I'm constantly changing what's displayed on it's three bars. Enlarge the photo to see it's unique shamrock and heart cut-outs. It's one of a kind that I treasure!

Its beautiful and looks even better on your hardwood floor.

My husband used to do woodwork until his RA took over. He even made our kitchen cabinets and whittled some cherished gifts including an eagle and cardinal. I worry that these skills and hobbies will be lost to a generation of technology.

what a beautiful quilt rack! i noticed the clover and heart cutouts right away. isn't it great having a creative and talented hubby? (mine loves his power tools, too, and can build just about anything anyone wants him too. i was just thinking this morning about the wood display racks for bead tubes at the store. hmmmmm...maybe a project coming up?) it's beautiful!

Wonderful quilt rack and quilts. My husband,Tom isn't a woodworker, but sure wish he was, as I would have lots of projects lined up for him. Years ago he did make me a nice large african violet lighted plant stand with 3 shelves.
