Knitted Winter Scarf

The variegated (in every way!) yarn is Red Heart's "Boutique Magical", and it took 16 mindlessly-knitted stitches across with size 9 needles until it was the right length. I have a long black coat that needs an accessory, and I think this will look nice. My blue heron modeled it reluctantly since the thermometer above him reads 94 degrees today.

Beautiful scarf. I love how you photographed it on the glass table--it looks like ice. Brrrrrr, just the thought. Heron is happy and ready for fall.

He looks pretty cute - even if he is a little too warm today. When you go back home for the winter, you must leave him with his very own scarf.

The scarf is lovely. I think it will look stunning with a black coat.

I love this scarf.... you are so right to be beginning NOW for the Fall season. Thank you for your kind comment...I do feel as if I have lost a childhood friend with Neil's passing. Happy Labor Day! Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
