Rail Fence Placemats

Strip-piecing four Thimbleberries fabrics, cutting into 6" squares, sewing together six squares in Rail Fence pattern, pillow-case stitching with batting and backing, turning, stitching up the opening, and tying in two strategic spots with DMC floss yields this nice set of new placemats. Wasn't that easy?!

Lovely! I can barely see where you tied them. I would have had to quilt them - I am obsessive about it. LOL
