Two More Model Boats

Both of these model boats have a rich NJ bay history. The blue one is a Garvey and the green one is a Sneakbox. Again, both started with a block of raw basswood that my husband carved, sanded, painted, and varnished. Everything is made of wood except the crab traps (screening) and bent nail boom on the Garvey, and the ducks (polymer clay) on the Sneakbox. A Sneakbox might be seen camouflaged by marsh grasses for duck hunting.

  2. I love what he's doing. My uncle made doll houses. I'm happy to own one. He also made other miniature things.

  7. They are so cool! I love the top one because it has a folk art feel to it and I love the colors.
