A Vintage Find

I've been wanting to post some different kinds of Pinelands Treasures from time to time, some vintage items I've found in my wanderings. Here is a sweet vintage towel i found at a local flea market that looks to be cross-stitched by a child's hands learning the art. It's up for adoption in my Etsy shop.

I love those old embroidered linens. My aunt still has one that I made her when I was 6 yrs old. It is still on her kitchen table.

Yvonne's sweet comment is so touching. I love old linens too and this one is lovely. I like the Dad's jacket.

I love old linens, too. This would be very cute framed. I FINALLY posted the pics of the murals in Frederick. I still haven't gotten to those lovely patchworks pieces I won from you. But I will! xo

I love finding my old pieces of hand made linens. It is like receiving a hug from the past. Memories to be held and treasured! Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez stewart

Oh that is so sweet! I remember using those types of patterns when I was little and learning from my Mom to do embroidery. I think I still have my first completed one some where, a Teddy Bear if I recall correctly. :)
