Another Fabric Box

A new addiction has taken hold. Not entirely unlike felted vessels, just more things that hold things. This one is for our Grand-daughter who loves monkeys. It will hold our gift for her First Communion later today. I have three more of these little boxes in progress, each one entirely different depending on the fabrics used. I will have to make one for myself!

Love it. They will be very useful.
Once I took random scraps and turned them into a box, a very unusual shaped box decorated with beads and buttons and whatever. I just sewed all the pieces together randomly and folded it up to make a vessel. Actually pretty cool looking. It was part of an art class I took.

Oh this one is nice also. I have one hand turned, but the hands only have 3 fingers...lol! Can't do the five finger ones that's an art in itself!

Oh I love those fabric boxes! I had seen those some time ago and meant to try making some. Maybe I'll get the sewing machine out some time in the next week or two and give a try!
