Wedding Ring Pillow -- in progress

Two posts down is my "Knitted Sampler" -- an effort to find a stitch I wanted to knit for our daughter's wedding ring pillow. I chose the stockinette stitch (knitting and purling alternate rows) because the surface is smooth and will take embellishment well. It doesn't look like much yet, but I have big plans for the finished pillow. I'll post my progress as I go, here's hoping!

I look forward to seeing the finished pillow. My daughter-in-law's aunt used patterns in her wedding dress to embroider a design on the ring pillow.

Yes, it will be fun to see the finished pillow...and hopefully some wedding pictures too.

From a person who is totally incapable of knitting it looks pretty darn good - even though you have more to do *smile*.
