Spirit Pillow and Growing Sage

Here is my latest Mini Beaded Spirit Pillow. The Swarovski crystal is in the eye.

Also, here is my home grown sage that I harvest to put inside my spirit pillows and spirit dolls. This plant started small in an herb garden, but has become woody and bush-like over the years, always surviving NJ winters, even this last one!

I like that you grow your own sage. You need to show another picture of it when it is all full and hardy in a month or two.

Its amazing because I always associate sage with the drier, warmer desert areas.

Love your little pillow! And sage does well here, too. So I keep planting it - lol!

I am so surprised to see the sage thriving. It's really wonderful. Love the little baby penguins. The beading really sets it off and the crystal gives that "twinkle" in the eye. Really nice work.

That really turned out pretty. You find the cutest fabric for your pillows! Sweet hugs, Diane

wow how do you get sage to winter over? I love sage too and grow it every year but never survives the winter-and ours are much milder than yours. I lost my 3 year old rosemary plant this winter-sigh love your spirit dolls-hugs
