Making Pretty Soap

Shopping online offers beautiful "works of art" in soapmaking, but I make soap only for fun and don't sell it. I keep it simple and just enjoy using and sharing it. However, recently I bought some colorants and have been experimenting. These are my first bars with color that I like. I also added some cranberry-fig fragrance. Now, if only I could use it instead of waiting 4-6 weeks while it cures!

  1. I like my cranberry fig soap you gave me...or was it just fig. It was nice :)

  3. I make my own soap too. And likewise, I don't sell it. I just like it better.

  4. Love hand made soaps, one of these days I should get around to learning to do it. I did melt and pour for a little while, but nothing can beat a nicely cured cold cure soap! I should get with you to send you all the fragrances I still have that never got used!
