Little Things

This delicate little woodlands sprite is made of Merino wool roving that I wet-felted into cloth. She's stuffed with lavender buds, embellished with a hand-made and painted clay face, and finished off with Czech glass seed beads. She smells heavenly and is in my Etsy shop waiting to be adopted.

Interesting use of wool roving....(she is lovely)...but I would have spun it into yarn. Ha ha. I love the fact that she is stuffed with lavender buds. I know the smell is delightful.

She looks like she can float among the clouds, lovey color!

She is certainly heavenly. I have some roving that I thought I would use and never did. I didn't know I could wet felt it into fabric. Where the heck do you learn how to do all the things you do!!

Stunning! I thought the same thing…..she looks like she is floating. Adding the lavender was a nice touch.
