Back to Felting

I just finished this 3"x2" wee vessel. It was wet-felted on a tennis ball, allowed to dry (a warm oven helps), needle-felted for shape, then beaded. It's an easy and relaxing process!

  1. I love your little bowls Barbara-I need to try this for sure-perhaps with some oh my hand dyed roving or alpaca fibers

  2. Oh, its beautiful. I have my lovely rose colored one on the shelves above my desk - its holds some of the small rocks I've collected along the way. A treasure holds my treasures. How perfect!

  3. Barbara, the vessel is beautiful. I've only done felting with a knitted piece. I have to try it your way one of these days.

  4. Oh my….exquisite. The lines created by the fibers gives this piece wonderful movement. I love the flow of the colors; waves of dark to light with gorgeous mid tones. Yeah, can you tell I like it a lot?
