Captcha Issues

Has Blogger started putting the Captcha feature in every blog's commenting section? It seems a lot of my favorite blogs have it these days, and I'm having trouble with duplication to prove I'm "not a robot". I understand why some want it, but I wish it was more user-friendly for me. I'm afraid I will not be able to comment when I run into it. :(

  1. This is odd. I don't see it on your blog but it has shown up on mine and I can't find a way to remove it.

  2. I solved the problem on my blog by switching from a popup window for comments to the embedded comment form.
I discovered this method on a Google help blog.

  3. thanks Gene. I'm going to check my settings for comments. I like it when the comments are on the same page as the post anyway. I like to scroll up to review the post so I can be sure I comment on all I thought about as I read through it. I like the new number only captcha I have seen.

  4. Yeah, I agree. It is hard commenting with that stupid "prove you're not a robot". Jeez.

  5. I've been having problems in various places too, and what really annoys me is that in many cases it gives me the option to comment with my Wordpress username, but then won't post or even give the the captcha option unless I use google. :o( Like now...
