Creativity of Another Kind

There's something enchanting about flowers that open at night. With a little luck, these Moonflower seedlings will do well. I'm a July "Moonchild", maybe that will help!

When I was young a neighbor grew a Night-blooming cereus. My sister, brother and I went down to see it the night it bloomed. It was quite lovely. But the bloom only lasted for the one night.

I have some viney thing that blooms at night. Someone told me they produce psychedelic seeds so I never have looked it up for fear I'll want to pull it out just in case the grand kids know about it. I don't think they pay much attention to the plants growing near the pond, lol.

So pretty! I should look into night bloomers as I am up so late and would enjoy the blooms.
