Before and After...again

This time I knitted-in-the-round with 5 smaller needles. I changed the amount of stitches on each row to achieve a pot-like shape. It's about 2" tall by 2" diameter at the opening, but the bottom is 3-1/2" across. Then I fulled it with hot water and agitation. Having a tighter weave, it fulled so completely that it's very sturdy and doesn't even need shaping. The secrets of fulling are to use only 100% wool yarn, and *LOTS* of agitation.

Very interesting and pretty. I love to felt wool because you're never sure exactly what it will look like at the end.
