Suggestions PLEASE...

My husband is holding his old navy blue V-neck woolen sweater that had a hole in it. I bought him a new one which he is wearing, then felted the old one with hot water and agitation in my washing machine. Can you believe the difference? Now I need ideas for upcycling the old felted sweater. Standing by for your thoughts.

I am sure for you the possibilities are endless but no suggestion, sorry.

pillows, applique pieces for projects, stuffed animals, use the back for a canvas and needle felt a scene onto it and/or add other wool applique pieces to "paint" a scene, make little needle books, or other little fabric books, cut in strips to hook with

Hmmm... I have no clue - I would have frogged the sweater and used the yarn for weaving or knitting.
But I do like Kathy's wool applique idea.

Hi Barbara, I would make a purse from the sweater after doing some embroidery on it and maybe add some beads.

A purse would be good -- especially if you could find a couple of other sweaters at a thrift shop and piece it for color. If you have any left you could make a pin cushion or small pillow with beads and embroidery to embellish it.
